Chimay is the largest and most internationally
famous of the Belgium Trappiste Breweries. It has
been brewing beer at the Abbaye de Scourmont near
Chimay since 1862. The Red is noted for its coppery
colour which makes it particularly attractive. Topped
with a creamy head, it gives off a light fruity aroma.

A golden amber Trappiste tripel with
a malty flavour. It is the hoppiest and driest offering

This rich, fruity Ale
is the strongest and most complex Ale from the Abbaye.
It was originally introduced as a Christmas beer but
has been brewed regularly since 1958. The large bottles
are vintage dated and benefits from being laid down
for a few years. All three beers are re-fermented
in the bottle and unpasteurized.

This Belgian classic
Trappiste Ale is the only brew made by the Abbaye
d’Orval which is the most attractive of the
Trappiste Monasteries. Orval means “Vale of
Gold”. This intensely dry Ale with a orange

The most secretive of
the Trappiste Breweries. The first brew dates as far
back as 1595. Three typically rich, dark Trappiste

known by their degree numbers.
