A liqueur is any flavoured spirit that has been sweetened. All kinds of flavourings can, and have been used.

There are three basic styles of liqueurs:

• Fruit based such as apples, citrus fruits, berries, soft fruits and exotics.
• Those made with herbs, spices and vegetables.
• Those with any other ingredients, such as eggs, chocolate and coffee.

The product is characterized by its rich fruit flavour due to the high content of aromatic French cassis juice and a considerably lower sugar content than the French créme de cassis. This qualifies the product as an appropriate ingredient for mixing a tasty “Kir” or “Kir Royal”.
MANDARINE NAPOLÉON		Available in: 500ml bottles Pack type: 6 per carton 700ml bottles Pack type: 6 per carton Origin: Belgium Alc: 38%		Mandarine Napoleon is an orange-flavoured liqueur using mandarin, Cognac and 21 botanicals. In the early years of the 19th century a French scientist developed a recipe for a new liqueur and presented it to Napoleon. These qualities were of particular interest to Napoleon, hence the liqueurs name. Only fresh mandarin-orange-peel from Sicily is used to make Mandarine Napoleon. The spirit is then three times distilled to produce an intense tangerine essence, and a fairly high alcohol content of 40% Alc/Vol. You can always taste the Cognac and the orange, but the range of herbs and spices is so broad that each sip finds something new. Try it neat after dinner (with or without ice), with orange juice, as an aperitif or in cocktails.

It is a unique high quality liqueur made exclusively from pure, natural ingredients, such as aromatic highland honey and fine spirits.
