With five centuries of wine-making experience behind
them, it's no wonder that Chilean winemakers are
harvesting the benefits of hard work, a pleasant
climate, good soils and perseverance in the wide
- and growing - scope of their wines. The Colchagua
Valley is a natural corridor formed by the oastal
mountain range and the Andes, and it is irrigated
by the pure, cool waters from both of these mountain
chains. The valley extends from the Pacific Ocean
right to the foot of the Andes. This creates a spectacular
combination of maritime and mountain influences
that generates conditions unique in Chile and the
world, forming a very special microclimate that
is ideal for viticulture.

This
wine is a great expression of the Colchagua
Valley’s best fruit and of the total dedication
to quality and care in the way this wine is
handled and produced. This Sauvignon Blanc is
a clear, light yellowish green, with a fresh
nose showing citrus zest, lychee, peppery accents,
and a background note of onion. Excellent acidity
give the wine a crisp, clean palate.

The "Wine
in the Sack" - Colchagua Valley, Chile
"Dark, violet red. Aromatic profile
features fresh and dried cherry plus dried plum,
with intriguing notes of dark chocolate and
mint. On the palate, the wine is rich, well
balanced and approachable with a long, smooth
finish. Recommended food parings: grilled or
roasted meats, and full-flavored dishes with
complex sauces."
